Bulk edit Shopify orders — tags, notes & metafields
Most bulk editors stop at products. Lasso edits your orders too: describe the set in plain English — by fulfillment status, payment status, date, total, or customer tag — review the diff, and apply. Organize and flag thousands of orders in minutes.

How it works
- 1
Describe the orders
Type the set you mean — "unfulfilled orders from May", "orders over $500", "orders from customers tagged wholesale". Lasso resolves the exact list server-side, no manual selection.
- 2
Review the diff
Every order gets its own before/after card — current tags vs new tags, the note change, the metafield value. Nothing has touched your store yet.
- 3
Apply — and undo if needed
One click applies the batch with a per-row success report. Another click reverts the whole thing: previous tags and notes are snapshotted on every apply.
Nothing ships without a preview — and everything has undo
Every change Lasso makes is staged in a project first, with a visual before/after diff for each item. Nothing touches your live store until you click Apply — and every apply snapshots the previous values, so one click reverts the whole batch. You also get a per-row report of exactly what succeeded and what didn't, plus a downloadable pre-apply backup for big jobs.
Frequently asked questions
Can Shopify bulk edit orders natively?
Only barely — the Shopify admin lets you select orders on one page and apply a small set of actions, but there is no native way to edit tags, notes, or metafields across hundreds of orders matching a filter (like "all unfulfilled orders from May"). That is the gap Lasso fills.
Which order fields can I edit in bulk?
Order tags (add, remove, or replace), the order note (set, append, or clear), order metafields, and custom attributes. You describe the orders in plain English and Lasso resolves the exact set server-side.
Can I undo a bulk order edit?
Yes. Every apply snapshots the previous tags, note, and metafield values, so one click restores them. You also review a visual diff of every order before anything is applied.
What can't be edited?
Line items, fulfillment status, and financial amounts are not editable through Lasso (Shopify does not allow creating or deleting orders via API either). Lasso is for organizing, flagging, and annotating order history at scale — safely.
How many orders can I edit at once?
There is no practical cap — describe the set and Lasso stages one reviewable change per order, applying large batches through Shopify’s bulk pipeline with a per-row success report.
Stop opening orders one by one. Tag, annotate, and organize your whole order history from one chat box.
