How do I add or remove a tag on many products at once?
Tell Lasso "add the tag summer to everything in the Summer collection" or "remove the tag clearance from all active products". It finds the matching products, stages a tag change for each, and shows you exactly which products are affected before anything changes.
Does adding a tag wipe my existing tags?
No. Add and remove operate on individual tags — they merge with what is already there. Adding "sale" never touches a product's other tags. If you do want to replace the whole tag list, you can ask for that explicitly.
Can I tag products by a filter instead of selecting them by hand?
Yes — scope by collection, vendor, product type, status, price, inventory level, or any Shopify search. Lasso resolves the scope server-side, so you never enumerate products manually.
Can I keep new products tagged automatically?
Yes. Set up an automation rule so a tag is applied whenever a product is created or updated — e.g. auto-tag every new product "new-arrival". It runs on its own and you review or auto-apply.
What if I tag the wrong products?
