An "item" is one row of data staged for apply. A 500-row CSV import is 500 items. A chat command like "tag 1,000 products with summer" is 1,000 items. Browsing products, viewing diffs, and navigating the app do not count.
The import is rejected upfront — no rows are written and no partial state is left behind. You can either split the file into smaller chunks or upgrade to a plan with a higher limit. You can keep browsing your data and using the AI chat in the meantime.
If your store has more products than your plan's product cap, AI features pause until you upgrade. Existing pending changes stay safe — nothing is deleted or auto-applied.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time through the Settings page in the app. Shopify prorates charges automatically — you won't be double-billed for the same period.
Pro, Studio, and Business plans each include a 14-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime during the trial at no cost.
