Getting Started
Using the AI Chat
Type natural language commands to manage your store. Try things like "Show me all products under $20" or "Set all draft products to active." Lasso stages changes for your review before applying them.
CSV Import
Click the paperclip icon in the chat to upload a CSV file. Lasso's AI automatically maps your columns to Shopify fields — even if headers are non-standard or in another language. Supports Matrixify format.
Reviewing Changes
All changes are staged in projects. Visit the Pending Updates page to see before/after diffs, then apply when you're ready. Changes are grouped by request so you can apply or discard individually.

What Shopify permissions does Lasso need?
Lasso requires the "write_products" scope to read and update your products, collections, and metafields. We do not access customer data, orders, or any other store data.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Lasso never applies changes without your approval. All changes are staged for review first. Your data is processed securely via Anthropic's Claude API for AI features, and stored in encrypted databases. We comply with GDPR and Shopify's data handling requirements.
What happens when I uninstall the app?
When you uninstall Lasso, we receive a webhook from Shopify and delete all your stored data (projects, pending changes, chat history, and session data) within 48 hours.
Can I undo changes after applying them?
Lasso keeps a history of all applied changes. You can view what was changed and when on the History page. For large operations, we recommend reviewing staged changes carefully before applying.
How do operations/limits work?
Each AI chat interaction counts as one operation toward your monthly limit. CSV imports count based on the number of rows processed. You can track your usage on the Settings page.
Does Lasso work with large stores?
Yes. For bulk operations touching more than 250 items, Lasso automatically uses Shopify's Bulk Operations API for efficient background processing. The Business plan supports up to 100,000 products.
